New funding for counselling for male survivors of rape and sexual abuse

Back to blog

Funding from the Ministry of Justice will allow us to provide more therapeutic support for both men and boys.

We are pleased to announce that we have been awarded funding from the Ministry of Justice’s Male Rape Support Fund to provide additional support to men and boys who have experienced rape and sexual abuse.

This funding will enable us to offer additional one to one counselling and a new support group for men. We will also run more of our amazing group outdoor adventure therapy sessions for boys when have been sexually abused. These sessions take small groups of children out into nature, with fun activities and challenges that help them build communication with trusted support workers and develop their confidence.

We are here for you

If you are a man who have experienced rape or sexual abuse at any time, or if you are a parent or carer of a child who has been sexually abused, you don’t have to deal with it alone. We can provide advice, support and counselling. Please contact us in confidence to find out more.
